Handprint
Everything we actively do to bring about positive change, whether through our products, our community or the projects we fund – this is what we call our handprint.

Ecosystem restoration
The Spekboom project in the Eastern Cape restored more than 2.8M m² of degraded land in 2025. 48 jobs were created, at least half of which were held by women – funded by the Interchange Fee, the Zero Account and referrals.

Rounding Up
Through Rounding Up, our community raised more than €720,000 in 2025 – for Women for Women International in (women’s empowerment), WWF Unganisha (ecosystems and biodiversity protection), and Project Tres (financial literacy and integration).

Climate Policy and Climate Farming
Through the Zero Account, Tomorrow has co-funded the production of 23 t of biochar and the sequestration of 64.4 t of CO₂ in 2025 and supported GermanZero which develops science-based climate protection plans (aim to achieving climate neutrality by 2035).
Sustainable Investments
Our customers’ money is never channelled into harmful industries such as coal-fired power generation or factory farming. Around 30% of customer deposits – currently €112M – are invested in sustainable, social and development bank bonds in line with the UN SDGs.

Tomorrow Fund: €15.4M+ Assets Under Management
The Tomorrow Fund is a sustainable equity fund. A defined selection process ensures that the money supports companies that meet high sustainability standards, including the exclusion of climate-harmful industries such as coal and oil. The fund is aligned with the climate goals of the Paris Agreement.
Footprint
We track our emissions across all three scopes. For the year 2025, for the first time, we calculated not only our operational emissions but also our financed emissions, which arise from our financial investments.
What we are still working on
We're never done. These are some of the topics we're currently working on:

Climate Action Plan 2026
Develop a company-wide Climate Action Plan with clear reduction targets and measures to manage our key sources of emissions.

Financial Education
Expand further our financial education offering through new information formats in the app and webinars, specifically tailored to the needs of our customers.

Sustainable Investments
Relaunch the Tomorrow Fund and expand our offering to include at least one new sustainable investment product.
