Choose your sustainable Tomorrow account

Of course you need our Tomorrow app - and a stable internet connection. For the verification you will need: 1) your current passport or ID card - here you can check which documents are accepted for verification.

Since we cooperate with our external partner IDnow in the identification process, we are bound to the range of ID cards and accepted by IDNow. The list is very extensive already, and we are always working on increasing the scope even further. 2) an official residence in one of the following countries:

- Germany - Austria - Italy - Spain

All three accounts are checking accounts. The checking account is the most important of all accounts for participating in payment transactions. You can deposit money on the account and transfers can be made. With the account at Tomorrow you get a VISA debit card, with which you can withdraw cash and make payments.

The credit balance of each Tomorrow customer is managed by Solaris SE in Berlin. Thanks to the Compensation Scheme of German Private Banks (EdB), your funds are protected up to the sum of 100,000 Euros. This protection applies per customer / per bank - in this case Solaris. In case you have several accounts with Solaris, the deposit protection applies to all your accounts in total.

A major security feature are our push notifications for every account transaction. So, if something odd is going on, you're in the picture right away. In the event of something unusual, you can immediately change your card pin in the app or block your card. Our support is of course open for questions and requests as well.

The security of your data is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, our systems are consistently designed to protect your data. This means that we always transmit data in encrypted form and check it for data integrity.

Depending on the account model, it is possible for you to add a shared account in addition to your existing personal account, which will be used by a maximum of two people.

The related costs entirely depend on which account model you choose. There are no charges for creating the shared account as such, but for the account model you use in order to have this feature (among others) available. With Change and Zero, you have the option to open a shared account for free. The first card is free for both participants.

With Now, you can't open a joint account without upgrading to a Change or Zero account. Here you can only be invited to a shared account.

Tomorrow is not a bank, but we have a banking service provider in the background. We work with Solaris SE, which has a banking license and we can offer you everything that a bank must be able to do.

Only 5% of Tomorrow customers have ever reached out to our support with a problem. That makes us pretty confident in what we offer—and we're sure you'll feel the same. However, if you ever have a valid reason to be dissatisfied, we promise to refund your account management fee for the past month immediately.

How to Use Your Money-Back Guarantee:

1. Contact our support team and explain your case.

2. Our support will determine, based on our criteria, whether it qualifies as a refund-eligible case—for instance, if your debit card is non-functional due to technical issues.

3. Within a few days, you'll receive your refund, directly credited to your Tomorrow account.

Yes, Tomorrow offers a legally mandated basic account under §§ 30 ff. ZKG. It is intended for persons ≥ 18 years old who reside in the EU, do not have another German payment account (or have not already applied for one), and will not use the account for criminal activities. If you already have a regular account with Tomorrow or another bank, you are not eligible. The basic account allows you to receive deposits, make bill and standing order payments, use card payments, perform transfers, and withdraw cash from ATMs in the EU (fees may apply). Compared with other account models, some advanced app features are limited. During processing, you must not open another account, as this could negatively affect your application.
