With the Now account model, you can freely choose the price with our so-called pay-what-you-want function and thereby set the account management fees to 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 4.90 euros. This option applies to anyone under the age of 21 or if you can provide proof of a monthly income to the Tomorrow account of at least €500.

Every Tomorrow customer’s balance is held by Solaris SE in Berlin. Thanks to the national deposit guarantee scheme, your money is protected up to €100,000.³ The deposit guarantee applies per customer / per bank – in this case Solaris SE. If you hold multiple accounts with Solaris SE, the deposit protection applies to all your accounts in total.

We keep you informed about account activity at all times via push notifications, so you’ll immediately notice if something looks off. In the app, you can block your card or change your PIN at any time.

All our systems are designed to transmit data only in encrypted form, keeping your data safe. In addition, our interfaces only transmit the minimum data necessary.

We mean it seriously: through clearly defined positive and negative criteria and an external body, the Impact Council, we ensure that not a cent of your deposits is invested in harmful industries like fossil fuels, weapons or factory farming. On top of that, a part of your deposits finances environmentally and socially sustainable projects, such as renewable energy, social infrastructure, and affordable housing.

Our work is based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which we have grouped into five categories: securing basic needs, empowerment, climate protection, nature, and fairness. We only potentially fund companies and projects that contribute to these challenges.

For this, Fair Finance ranked us 2nd out of 20 banks. We disclose all details in our annual sustainability report.

For verification, you’ll then need:

1) Your current passport or ID card – here you can find an overview of the documents accepted for verification. Since we work with our external partner IDnow for identification, we are bound by which passports and ID cards are accepted by IDnow. The list is very extensive, and we are constantly working to expand it.

2) An official place of residence in one of the following countries: Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain.

The card you receive from us is a debit card. That means that as soon as you pay with the card – whether at a flower shop, online store, or your next supermarket trip – you draw directly from the funds in your current account. Unlike credit cards, the charge happens as quickly as possible – immediately or within a few days. But please note: a small number of payment terminals don’t yet accept Visa cards (e.g. pure EC card terminals). Our new cards are also VPay-enabled. Wondering what that is? You can withdraw cash from all ATMs that display the Visa logo. Here you can find a suitable ATM. You can now also withdraw cash at many shops. You can find more information here. The conditions under which you can withdraw depend on your chosen account model. Please refer to our price list for more information.

Unfortunately, there are a very small number of ATMs that do not yet accept Visa or that charge their own fees. This is up to the ATM operator and you will be informed when you try to withdraw, so you can choose a different ATM.
